Penelope’s Vanity has been in Old Town Alexandria for 18 years, and in our current location for the past 10!  We love Old Town and all of our wonderfully loyal clientele- many of whom have been with us for well over a decade now.  At Penelope’s Vanity we think of you as family.

Our lead stylist trained in London at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon.  She is fantastic at finding a cut and color that is perfect for you and your lifestyle.

Our esthetician is highly trained and has been in the skin care industry for 18 years.  She has focused specifically on skin care and treatments for over 10 years, and is board certified in both Virginia and Maryland.

We keep the atmosphere as friendly and fun as possible, and have been known to pop the champagne or wine after 5.  Think of Penelope’s Vanity as an escape from the stresses of the world.  In fact, some of our clients stop by for a chat, even when they don’t have an appointment.  This warms our hearts as we know we are providing much more than just a service.

While having a great time is certainly a good reason to join us, rest assured that we also take our job very seriously, whether that’s giving you the perfect cut and color, or a facial that melts the stress- and years- away.
